THE DIFFERENT CLASSES AND TYPES OF INVESTMENT ACCOUNTS OFFERED BY HELLASFIN

ACCOUNT CUSTODIANS

HELLASFIN CUSTODY

The Investor may choose to monitor their investment portfolio and receive execution and custodian services provided by either HellasFin Security Services (HF2S) or one of the associated providers (Banks and Investment Services Firms).

Provided that the equivalent services are offered by the respective providers (Banking Institutions) , the Investor, after request, may additionally choose to include the following:

  • Debit and credit cards
  • E-banking
  • Financing instruments

CHOOSING YOUR ACCOUNT/PORTFOLIO TYPE

ACCOUNT TYPES

The Investor may choose between the following account/portfolio types:

  • Personal Account/Portfolio
  • Joint Account/Portfolio for co-beneficiaries
  • Corporate Account/Portfolio

It is noted that the use of the term Portfolio concerns cases whereby execution and custodian services are provided by HellasFin, whereas the use of the term Account concerns cases where execution and custodian services are provided by other providers (Banking Institutions).

If the services are offered by the participating providers (Banking Institutions), they may additionally choose the following account:

  • Cash management account

The possibility of selecting from the aforementioned account/portfolio types is provided according to each provider’s policy for:

  • EU citizens
  • US citizens
  • Citizens of other countries
2.5.3.
WHAT AN INVESTMENT ACCOUNT INCLUDES

CURRENCIES & SECURITIES

Each account/portfolio may contain cash in multiple currencies and multiple financial instruments.

Specifically:

  • Cash in various currencies
  • Government bonds – Bonds of Central Governments, Central Banks and Recognized International Organizations
  • Exchange traded debt securities in regulated markets
  • Exchange traded equities
  • Exchange traded funds
  • Mutual Fund coupons-shares, both foreign and domestic

Depending on the internal regulations and processes of each provider, the Investor may maintain more than one account/portfolio, as well as different accounts/portfolios for each separate currency.

Information that the Investor should be aware of before opening an investment account.

According to the demands of MiFID II, the company provides a pre-contract information package to potential Investors, which includes detailed information on the following topics:

  • Investment services
  • Nature and risks of financial instruments
  • Client categorization
  • Suitability – compatibility assessment
  • Client information
  • Communication – Investor Complaint Management
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Optimal execution
  • Safeguarding of financial instruments and Investor capitals
  • Costs and charges
